Web Adverstisement

Animated web banners are a particular design favorite of mine, unfortunately, I haven’t had as many opportunities as I would like to design them. Digital advertisement can be a successful medium, but the landscape is shifting. Pre-roll YouTube advertisements and social media advertising are much better at targeting audiences than web banners. I hoping to try some cinemagraph animation soon. What’s a cinemagraph? Check out a few examples here. These are going to be a big part of digital marketing, trust me. Back to web banners, here’s a few examples of animated and non-animated web banners I have done in the past.

Netflix

This animated web banner was designed as part of a Multinational Marketing Strategies graduate course I took. The task was to develop a marketing strategy to bring Netflix to China. As part of this assignment, I was asked to develop an advertisement to promote Netflix’s new Chinese platform. I’m really happy with the smooth transitions in this ad.

IDD Summit Web Banner

This animated web banner was designed to promote an event for behavioral healthcare professionals. The I/DD Executive Summit, I/DD is short for intellectual and developmental disabilities, aims to educate behavioral health professionals in the latest medial trends and resources available for facilities serving the I/DD population. This ad highlights the event’s sessions.

PsychU Virtual Forum MACRA

This static web banner advertises another PsychU webinar, this time the topic is MACRA. What the heck is MACRA? Simply put it’s a system of metrics the establishes new ways to pay doctors caring for Medicare beneficiaries. It’s all part of a value-based payment model. The web banner attempts to make a less than interesting topic seem engaging and inviting.

PsychU Virtual Forum Co-Occurence

This static web banner was developed for PsychU, an educational resource for psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses. PsychU hosts webinars on topics of interest to the behavioral health community. This ad highlights a seminar on the effects of substance use on those with psychosis. I think the imagery perfectly depicts the challenges this community faces.
