About Me
I started my career as a graphic designer, and for many years that's how I made a living. But there is more to marketing than good graphics and copy, so I decided to dive head first into not only a Master's degree in Marketing but also relevant skill sets that would shape my future, including web development and digital marketing. Do your needs align with my skills? Probably. I can design logos, business cards, brochures, and even trade show booths and billboards. I can edit your audio and video too. Need a website? Not a problem. Email marketing? Check. Social media and Pay-Per-Click. You got it.
Here's the Skinny
I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in Textiles & Design from Albright College. I have a Master’s of Science in Marketing from SNHU. I am Certified in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and completed a 56-hour course on front-end web development. Bottom line: I’m always expanding my skills to serve you better.
I’ve been a graphic designer and marketing person for more than 10 years. Many of my early years were spent at Lion Brothers, an apparel applique manufacturer. Do you like sports? Those jerseys you see on-field, on-court and on-ice, Lion Brothers makes the numbers and crests for all your favorite teams. With Lion, I worked in pre-press setting up art for production as well as a lead designer and conceptual designer and trained new designers in the company. My last year with them, working as a Marketing Specialist, I was responsible for developing and launching marketing releases. These releases went to the big guys, Adidas, Nike and Under Armor. It was a great gig.
Next, I took a graphic design and marketing coordinator job closer to home. The company wasn't an ideal fit, but it did give me the opportunity to hone my trade show display and web banner skills and become an audio and video editing guru. PremierePro and AfterEffects anyone? After that I began working for a design agency outside of Baltimore, MD. I got to work with great clients and touch a ton of different projects for both print and web.
Once my Master's degree was completed I took a big step in my career and moved into a Marketing Manager role with American Pool. The role allowed me to incorporate all my education and experiences in one position. I oversee creative development for marketing materials, work to develop blog and website content, and handle all of the digital marketing pieces as well.
Finally, I decided to satisfy my inner foodie by working as a Director of Marketing for Culinary Services Group and later the Director of Marketing for Golden Waffles. It was quite an experience to rebrand an 80-year-old company in just 8 months! And my hard work is proudly displayed in every Hampton in in the United States. In both roles I oversaw marketing materials, web design, and digital marketing. Every day was new challenge where I could put all of my skill sets to work.
